We’ve had a lovely day in Edinburgh – it turns out Katie’s brother was also unexpectedly in town and so we all went for lunch at The Dome, (which sorted out our hangovers immediately) and then we managed a spot of TK Maxx-ing, which was most edifying. The Katie is wearing Solea shoes, American Apparel pop socks, Benetton sweater and vintage Hermès scarf.

So we’re still here at the amazing Babington House. We had a wonderful meal last night which continued into the wee hours. Katie now has several cocktails named after her and we both have pretty sore heads. Nevertheless, today started well with a swim, a sauna and a delicious breakfast. Now time for a walk in the grounds. The beautiful Katie is wearing a Fenn Wright Manson skirt, metallic Sugar boots, MFB necklace and TK Maxx blouse.

Wonderful time had by all at the party last night. As you’d expect, today has been a day of quiet reflection and contemplation (as well as a lot of cleaning and some dim sum). Here is Katie doing the heads, shoulders, knees and toes dance in the middle of Shoreditch. No idea why. She’s wearing Ras shoes, her Lucca hangover suit (no website – it was from TK Maxx), her mum’s silk scarf from Valentina Fiore (no website), Christian Dior sunglasses and the Cartier.
Oh dear. We went out on a Girls Aloud Night last night, which started at Off Broadway for Tabitha’s birthday and finished in a state of terrible disarray. Getting through today has been a real struggle for both of us. I even mistakenly sent River Island an email telling them that “I feel sick”. It was meant for Katie. Hangover Girl is wearing boots from when she lived in Freiburg (unknown brand), top from TK Maxx, and Jane’s vintage belt.

So our new housie didn’t actually move in yesterday – she’s moving in today instead. Just as well as I was rather tired and emotional when I got in from Hardy’s last night. Today Katie is wearing pointy Rodolphe Menudier shoes, E.B. dress (from TK Maxx) and a big lump of jewellery (Joe-llery) that was a present from me.
The skank church opposite Brown’s is normally full of syringes, empty beer cans and vagrants, but today looks rather beautiful, as does Katie. Today she’s wearing orange Tommy Hilfiger cords (from our trip to TK Maxx yesterday), a vintage shirt from a flea-market in Germany and orange Kurt Geiger shoes.
