what katie wore on day two at babington house

So we’re still here at the amazing Babington House. We had a wonderful meal last night which continued into the wee hours. Katie now has several cocktails named after her and we both have pretty sore heads. Nevertheless, today started well with a swim, a sauna and a delicious breakfast. Now time for a walk in the grounds. The beautiful Katie is wearing a Fenn Wright Manson skirt, metallic Sugar boots, MFB necklace and TK Maxx blouse.

what katie wore after peter blake

Last night we went to the excellent Peter Blake opening at Mother’s new gallery space and then on The Jago. It could easily have turned into a Girls Aloud night, but fortunately we resisted the urge to carry on too late. Even still, I’m feelnig a bit ropey this morning and so have been occupying myself with learning as much Polari as I can. Pointless, although not as pointless as Esperanto. Katie’s wearing her Pepa Loves lulz suit, Mad Fashion Bitch necklace, Kurt Geiger shoes and red gipsy skirt from a market in Greece.

Today Katie and I had a day off, so we decided to treat ourselves. Broke but in need of pampering after a hectic weekend, we chanced upon the fantastic London College of Beauty Therapy. I had a facial and Katie had a full body massage, including a facial and head massage. We both left in a relaxed, blissful daze and headed straight to Yauatcha for afternoon tea. What a lovely day! Today Katie is wearing a colourful Spring ensemble – River Island tights, Day, Birger et Mikkelsen skirt, multiple different coloured tops and customised necklace from Mad Fashion Bitch. And for once, her dodgy camera phone actually took a better self portrait than my camera!

Don’t worry, Katie isn’t going to a funeral today, it’s just that  sometimes she needs to dress like the super-intelligent business woman that she is. Today she’s wearing Georgina Goodman shoes, black leather skirt from H&M, a sequin jacket from Monsoon and another great necklace from the Mad Fashion Bitch.

We had an excellent lunch in Clerkenwell (oysters) and spent the evening getting the house ready for our new housemate’s who are moving in tomorrow. Post is so late because my laptop died and Katie’s has refused to work for the past 3 hours. Today she’s wearing Carvela shoes, Falke tights, yet another wonderful necklace from Mad Fashion Bitch and a floral coat from (unbelievably) Makro!

She’s putting on a very brave face but Katie is not at all well today after drinking herself into oblivion last night. She could only manage one dim sum at lunch which is most uncharacteristic. Today, as is her custom,  Katie is wearing her lulzy hangover suit with skeleton detail from Pepa Loves, black Iceberg dress, a necklace which was a gift from Mad Fashion Bitch and Betty Jackson patent shoes.

Slightly blurry pictures today but not my fault as Katie took them herself whilst I had a long lie in bed to celebrate my week off work. Today the dress is by Betty Jackson, the shoes are Katherine Hammett for Shelleys and the necklace is from Mad Fashion Bitch. We happen to know the Mad Fashion Bitch’s other half as he used to work with Katie and he tells us she’s just launched a brand new venture called Normal For Norfolk. Take a look – the quilts on the site are splendid.
